Sexual Assault Response Center is here to support survivors in every way possible.
We provide quality, efficient and culturally competent advocacy, therapy, and prevention education to children, women and men. Our team of advocates are here to help and provide access to resources, medical attention, and immediate crisis intervention. They also are sources of confidential, emotional support and validation for both survivors and their loved ones
Providing Resources
Our advocacy efforts empower survivors, provide legal resources and medical options that are available. Whether the assault has just taken place or happened decades ago, you deserve support, guidance, and care
These are just a few of the advocacy services you can expect:
- Serving as liaison between survivor and legal, medical systems
- Promotion and education of Survivor’s rights
- Comforting, confidential, and respectful care
- Assistance in creating a safety plan
- Supporting survivor during medical exam
- Educating family and loved ones of the survivor on best ways to provide support
- Coordinating follow-up services and appointments
- Referrals to therapy and support groups
