How to Help

Quarterly Newsletter April 2025

Donation

No client will need to pay for SARC services, but there are inevitable costs that can be an obstacle to providing those services. Every dollar given can be used in a multitude of ways to support the survivor. This can include the up-front costs of:

  • Keeping SAKs and medical equipment available for clients
  • Prevention, education, and awareness programs
  • Trauma-informed counseling
  • Clothing, food, and hygiene products

Amazon Wishlist

As a professional office and crisis response organization, there are certain supplies that will help us to operate more smoothly and provide a positive experience for survivors. Our Amazon Wishlist includes supplies and items that will be used to directly support survivors during one of the most critical moments after an assault. Food, drink, hygiene, clothing, and other comfort items are helpful for making survivors feel whole, human, and cared for. Other office supplies listed keep SARC operations efficient.

Kroger Community Rewards

Kroger offers a program called Kroger Community Rewards, in which you can link the charity of your choice to your shopping account. At no cost to you, Kroger will track regular shopping amounts and make a donation to the charity you chose based on that shopping. Click the link below for more information.

Spread Awareness

If you are stuck wondering how you can show your support for the cause to end sexual violence in our community, just remember that spreading awareness is helpful all on its own.

  • Follow our social media
  • Subscribe to our Newsletter and follow our blog
  • Share information on SARC and its available services
  • Attend SARC events and other activities in the community

Sponsorship

Your business or organization can show a commitment to community health and support survivors by:

  • Sponsoring upcoming SARC events (like Walk a Mile)
  • Providing corporate donations
  • Hosting charity activities (like percentage nights)

Volunteer

You can also lend support by volunteering. Whether helping us to keep our offices organized, manning tables at outreach events, or assisting with other SARC activities, every helpful hand is equally impactful for our mission. If you are interested in becoming an advocate, check our Careers page for availability.

Special thanks to some of our greatest supporters!
