The holiday season throughout October, November, and December 2025 had the potential to be very challenging for many people. Traveling to unfamiliar places can be dangerous, even with family, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month can be a difficult reminder of this. Also in this issue, SARC has released new versions of coping books and been active in some impactful community-focused holiday events.

Understand a little more about what confidentiality means to SARC and how July, August, and September 2025 kept us motivated. Welcoming the Back to School season, presenting at a state conference and observing Suicide Prevention Awareness Month have been reminders to keep moving, educating, and advocating for prevention of assault and other traumatic events.

Want to know a little more about SARC and its activities? Now is the best time to take a look. This issue reflects on April, May, and June 2025, which includes some of the most essential times to raise support for survivors: Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Mental Health Awareness Month, and Pride Month. SARC staff and volunteers are busy this time of year with getting involved in the community.
